Terms & Conditions Prepaid
  1. Service Description
    1. There are two (2) Activate High Speed add-on service namely Activate High Speed RM1/2 hours and Activate High Speed RM5/24 hours (collectively, “Activate High Speed 2 and 24 Hours”). The following Table sets out the detailed offer of 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons.

      1. Each of the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons is an add-on service to enhance the internet speed for your data plans. The 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons does not provide any additional data quota to your data plans.
      2. The 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons applies to any of the following Prepaid plans:
        1. GX Plans
        2. U Plans
        3. Travellers Plans (7-Day & 14-Day Travel Pass)
      3. The 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons allows you to enjoy high speed on 4G or 5G network depending on the best available network coverage in your area.
    1. The 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons is supplied according to our Terms of Service for Prepaid and the respective Prepaid plans. You must comply with those Terms of Service including our Privacy Notice and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the “Terms”), all which are available on  /.
    2. You may subscribe to the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons on your mobile device:
      1. via MyUMobile App; or
      2. by dialing *118#
    3. You may subscribe to more than one subscription of each of the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons. However, the latest subscription of any of the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons will supersede the previous subscription.

      As an example: If you subscribed to Activate High Speed RM1/2 hours on 7 July at 2 p.m and you subscribed to another Activate High Speed RM1/2 hours on the same day at 3 p.m, your second subscription will supersede your earlier subscription.
    4. You may subscribe to the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons concurrently; however different validity periods will apply.

      As an example: If you subscribed to Activate High Speed RM1/2 hours on 7 July at 2pm and you subscribed to Activate High Speed RM5/24 hours on the same day at 3pm, different validity applies as specified below:

    1. For subscribers who are currently subscribed to the Prepaid U Plans (namely U Prepaid 25, 35, 40 and 50), all usage under the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons are drawn from your FUP quota. 
       
      As an example: If you are on U Prepaid 25 and you consume 2GB using the Activate High Speed RM5/24 hours, your remaining FUP quota will be reduced from 40GB to 38GB.
    2. For those who are on currently on the Prepaid U Plans, namely U Prepaid 25, 35, 40 and 50. Upon reaching the FUP quota, your speed will remain at 512 kbps even if you subscribed to the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons.

      As an example: If your U Prepaid 25 has already hit the FUP quota of 40GB, and you subscribe to the 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons, your speed will still be managed at 512kbps.
    3. If you have subscribed to 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons, when you change your rate or data plan, any unused validity from your 2 and 24 hours Activate High Speed Add-ons subscription will be forfeited without refund and will not be carried forward to your new rate or data plan.
