d. When you complete the steps listed above, you will be deemed to be a participant of the Campaign. No entry form is required.
4. Rebate
a. By subscribing to the eligible plans under the Campaign, both Referrer and Referee will receive a one-time Rebate of RM50 upon the activation of eligible Postpaid Plan under this Campaign. The Campaign is limited to the first 1,800 redemption at all the UMECs nationwide within the Campaign Period.
b. The Rebate will be reflected in the subsequent monthly bill statement following the activation month and onwards. The Rebate will offset the monthly fees and usage.
c. You must fully settle all outstanding charges under your existing subscriptions before you can proceed with the registration of the Postpaid plans under this Campaign. Any existing rebate that you are receiving from the existing subscription will be forfeited when you switch to this Campaign.
d. Each Referral Mobile Number will be eligible to redeem only six (6) times during the Campaign Period.
e. You must ensure that your U Mobile Postpaid account is Active during the Campaign Period and until the point the Rebate is issued.
f. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute any of the Rebate with another reward of similar value at any time without prior notice.
g. The Rebate is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, in full or in part, and any reward shown in U Mobile’s website, U Mobile Facebook page, MyUMobile app, advertisements and Campaign materials are for photography or illustration purposes only.
h. The Rebate cannot be combined with any other existing rebates.
5. General
a. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
b. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is the participants’ responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if the participants do not agree to any of the changes, such participants must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
c. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:
i. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and
ii. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing, or advertising materials; and
iii. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
d. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Postpaid services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
e. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have exclusive authority over all matters arising from this Campaign.
f. In the event of any conflict between the English and other language versions, the English version shall prevail.
