    1. Free Roaming Incoming Call is a voice roaming offer which provides you with incoming calls on roaming at selected countries at no additional charge. This Free Roaming Incoming Call is not applicable for making outgoing calls and SMS. Any outgoing calls and SMS while roaming will be subject to the applicable retail tariff charges at /en/business/roaming-idd/roaming-rates.
  1. Free Data Roaming is not applicable for voice and SMS service.
  2. Free Data Roaming and Free Roaming Incoming Call are available to U Biz 68 and U Biz 98 (principal lines only) and are not applicable for U BizShare line.
  3. Free Data Roaming and Free Roaming Incoming Call cannot be transferred to any other mobile numbers.
  4. Free Data Roaming and Free Roaming Incoming Call are provided according to the Terms of Service on our Postpaid Sign-Up Form. You must comply with those terms including the relevant service description, Privacy Notice, the relevant Postpaid subscription plan and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
  5. We reserve the right to modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges without notice to you. This overrides any requirement where we may have to give you notice in other parts of our agreement with you.



Free Data Roaming: Activation and Charges

  1.  To enjoy the Free Data Roaming you are required to:
     i.    activate your international roaming service before you travel; and
     ii.   manually connect to any one of the preferred roaming operator’s networks when you are on roaming at the respective countries as listed in Table A below:

  1. If you do not connect to the preferred roaming network specified above, you will not be able to connect to the internet while on roaming. However, you may still use voice and SMS service subject to the applicable charges imposed by the roaming operator you connect to.
  2. Once you connect to the preferred roaming operator’s network above based on the country you are in, you may use the data quota allocated to you (“Data Roaming Quota”) as per Table A. 
  3. You may check your Data Roaming Quota’s usage while on roaming by
    i.    Dialing *118#; or
    ii.   using the MyUMobile App
  4. Upon full utilisation of your Data Roaming Quota:
    i.   we will notify you via SMS and your Free Data Roaming service is no longer applicable until your Data Roaming Quota is refreshed at the next billing cycle PROVIDED you are still subscribed to either U Biz 68 or U Biz 98.
    ii.   if you continue to use data roaming, you will automatically subscribe to the daily U Data Roam service (UDR10 or UDR36). The UDR10 or UDR36 is chargeable at RM10 or RM36 per-day per-country subject to UDR’s terms and conditions which are accessible at /en/personal/support/terms-conditions/general/u-data-roam-10-and-u-data-roam-36
  5. The mobile internet roaming service under UDR10 or UDR36 is subject to the preferred roaming operator’s network availability.

Free Roaming Incoming Call: Activation and Charges

  1. To enjoy the Free Roaming Incoming Call, you have to:
    i.     activate your international roaming service before you travel; and
    ii.    manually connect to either one of the preferred roaming operator’s networks when you are on roaming at the respective countries as listed in Table A above.
  2. If you do not connect to the preferred roaming network specified as above Table A, you may still able to receive calls subject to the applicable charges imposed by the roaming operator you connect to which are accessible at /en/business/roaming-idd/roaming-rates
