Network Troubleshooting Guide

Find the best way to troubleshoot for U

Check Network Status Map & Balance via the MyUMobile App

  • Check the Network Status Map. If there is a network disruption in your area, wait for service to resume before trying out the other methods

  • For Prepaid users, ensure there is sufficient credit balance in your account

  • For Postpaid users, ensure there are no outstanding bill payments

Manage Messaging App & Device Settings​

  • Free up space in your messaging inbox/outbox​

  • Turn off Bluetooth & Wi-Fi and connect to the U Mobile 4G/5G network​

  • Toggle flight mode between on and off​​

  • Ensure your device is fully updated

Check SMS Centre Number​

  • For Android users, go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Messages settings > More settings > Text messages > check Message Centre number: +60181000108

  • For Apple users, the SMS centre number is set automatically​
     

Check Network Status Map​

  • Check the Network Status Map for any network disruptions in your area.

  • If there is a network disruption in your area, wait for service to resume before trying out the other methods

Check Balance Via MyUMobile App

  • For Prepaid users, ensure there is sufficient credit balance in your account

  • For Postpaid users, ensure there is no outstanding bill payments

  • Ensure there is sufficient Internet quota balance.​

Manage Device Settings

  • Turn off Bluetooth & Wi-Fi and connect to the U Mobile 4G/5G network

  • Turn Flight mode on and off

  • Ensure your device is fully updated
